The Essential Technology Showcase: ClearTech Heads to InfoComm 2026 June 2026

There’s no substitute for InfoComm. Even in an era of instant information access, North America’s largest AV technology tradeshow and conference never fail to deliver new revelations and insights. And for an industry that’s all about connection and remote collaboration, the opportunity to meet face-to-face with a broad range of vendors, partners and colleagues enables companies like ours to provide the technology leadership our clients count on.

Each year ClearTech sends a delegation to InfoComm. And each year we spend considerable time planning how best to spend our time there. For us, the InfoComm experience can be divided into three principal areas: research, discovery and relationships.

Relationships always come first, and InfoComm affords an essential opportunity to reaffirm and strengthen them – primarily our relationships with the vendors and distributors we count on to provide the best possible technology solutions. This year we’ll be hosting tours with key vendors like Almo, Crestron, Legrand AV, Panasonic and Shure, while leaving time open for impromptu meetings.

For example, Panasonic is both a ClearTech vendor and partner. Not only do we feature Panasonic products in many of our solutions, but this year we’re its Direct-View LED Premier Partner for Southern California. That relationship will be instrumental in the introduction of the company’s new DV-LED video walls, which combine a new level of performance with incredible ease of use.

We also block off time simply to wander the show floor. This is the discovery portion of our InfoComm strategy. With so many AV technology leaders assembling in one place, InfoComm is fertile ground for encountering tech we didn’t even know was under development – products and applications with the potential to transform our customers’ businesses or, at the very least, advance key strategic objectives. But even in this case, planning is important. For example, we employ a divide-and-conquer strategy whereby our delegates divide the show floor into sections, with each team member exploring one or more of them – thus ensuring we don’t miss anything important.

And then there’s the Research we undertake at InfoComm. Leading up to the show, we read up on the various product and solution introductions that are in store for attendees, and we zero in on the ones that are most relevant to our customers.

For example, we’re excited not just to see the new Panasonic DvLED Wall in action, but also the company’s new PT-HTQ20 1-Chip DLP projector, Panasonic’s first to achieve over 95% of the Rec. 2020 wide color gamut. It’s powered by new RGB-plus-phosphor laser technology for life-like visuals.

We’re also looking forward to seeing what Crestron has planned for the show. Perhaps its biggest UC announcement has centered around Crestron Collab Compute for collaboration spaces. This is a purpose-built hardware platform that powers Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom rooms software, and it promises a leap forward in responsive AI features and multi-display support. In addition, we’ll see some next-generation intelligent control interfaces, Crestron’s AI-powered AutoMeasure configuration feature for multi-camera speaker tracking, and its 1 Beyond i12D camera that enables automated framing, group framing and active speaker switching without complex programming.

Shure, another manufacturer whose products figure prominently into our solutions, will be showcasing an expanded lineup of AI-powered workplace solutions and advanced wireless technology. Among them is the MXA025 ceiling array microphone with built in AI-based DSP and automatic coverage technology for high-quality speech capture in tricky acoustic spaces. We’re eager to see the IntelliMix Bar Pro as well. This Android-based all-in-one video conference bar for medium-to-large meeting rooms combines several key features in a single, scalable enterprise unit.

Legrand AV is also an InfoComm stalwart, and this year its exhibit will highlight interconnected technologies across the AV stack, from mounting and power to collaboration and cloud management. One example is Legrand’s TiLED Solutions Services, which help consultants and installers simplify structural planning and alignment workflows.

Almo’s latest offerings will be on display, too. We’re eager to learn more about its expanded managed services, called “NOBOX.” They help integrators pivot to sustainable revenue opportunities beyond hardware. Almo’s Experience Rooms will showcase specialized meeting areas featuring the latest Biamp Devio solutions and intelligent workplace platforms, and we expect to see some noteworthy intelligent workplace upgrades featuring the latest in extended reality (XR) and enterprise drones.

One more company we’ll mention here is Symmetric, which has chosen InfoComm 2026 to mark the official debut of its Cognio AV and control system. Designed to eliminate many of the limitations that have historically defined hardware-centric AV systems, this platform is a prominent example of how distributed intelligence, software-defined workflows and unified system management are reshaping AV design. Symmetrix states that Cognio is more than a product launch, it represents “a new architectural approach to AV systems, designed around flexibility, resilience and long-term scalability.” We’ve worked a lot with this company and have been impressed by its thinking, so it’s going to be interesting to get up close and personal with the Cognio design and control environment.
Suffice it to say: We’ll be very busy at InfoComm. But rest assured, we can always find time to gather with interested parties. In fact, those meetings are our number one priority, no matter the event. To arrange a one-on-one meeting, just send a note to Christina De Bono, at christina@cleartechmedia.com.
