Panasonic Names ClearTech as its Official Direct-View LED Premier Partner May 2026

In a conversation about why Panasonic asked ClearTech to be its official launch partner for the company’s new direct-view LED video wall products, we asked Southwest Territory Account Manager Jeff Gray about Panasonic’s history with ClearTech, the importance of partnering with firms of high integrity, and the Premier Partnership’s value to ClearTech customers. 

ClearTech: It was an honor to be asked to be your Director-View LED Premier Partner. We’d like to ask why you chose ClearTech, but first, tell us a bit about the new product line.

Jeff Gray: Sure. There are two different categories of products. One, which launched April 1, 2026, is a 137-inch, all-in-one direct-view LED solution. The display itself offers high operability, long-term stable operation, high installation efficiency and expandability, and you get it in just one SKU with everything you need: the core modules, media player, power supply and mounting system. You just plug in a video source and it’s up and running. It has a 1.5mm pixel pitch, 700 NITS brightness and 4K resolution, which is impressive. Then, this August, we’ll debut what is essentially the same product but at a 165-inch size, with a 1.9mm pixel pitch. 

ClearTech will also help us launch our new direct-view, or DvLED LED Video Walls, which are very high quality, bezel-less, 55-inch displays with 800 NITS, a wide color gamut, and a 1.26mm pixel pitch. Part of what’s so remarkable about these displays is how flexible they are. They’re light in weight – under 50 lbs. – which makes installation easier. They’re VESA compatible, meaning you can reuse existing LCD video wall mounts and brackets. And setup is simplified because their controller-free setup enables HDMI-only operation. 

So, compared to conventional video walls, they dramatically reduce both visibility issues and installation complexity. The official launch will be at InfoComm, and ClearTech will be there for that.

How could we miss it? So tell us, why did you ask ClearTech to be a Premier Partner for the launch?

Lots of reasons. First, we have a long history together, and that gives us a lot of comfort in ClearTech’s ability to talk about and install the product. Your staff have a very high level of technical expertise. For example, not long ago we worked together on a large installation project for the LA County Museum of Art and it just went beautifully.

On that project and others, we really admired your attention to detail. That might actually be your most impressive attribute. When you do design-builds, I see all the designs, pricing and documentation. Very rarely does anything require correction. You’re extremely technically proficient.

Also important to us is that you have really earned the trust of your clients. You get a lot of repeat business. Your customers are happy. You’re competitive with pricing. And you’ll do whatever it takes to ensure your clients get the right solution for their needs, including pre-installation staging of solutions at your offices.

How will our Premier Partnership status benefit ClearTech customers?
